The key responsibility will be to generate qualified sales leads for the sales team to close. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop prospects from multiple sources, follow up on leads generated through marketing programs, as well as independent prospecting and other lead generation strategies. Success will be measured by the number of qualified sales opportunities created.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Perform outbound prospecting sales activities such as lead follow-ups, and opportunity qualifications via LinkedIn, UpWork, Freelancer, phone, email, social media. *Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects within the target markets.
*Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities to a sales ready opportunity.
*Identify relevant target companies and contacts (able to execute effective account exploration and mining tactics).
*Search for new leads through Internet, social media monitoring, subscriptions, new databases, etc.
*Maintain and manage all information in CRM, ensuring all communication activities are entered into the system, information is up to date and accurate.
*Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing to develop and grow the pipeline to meet revenue goals.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
*Demonstrate ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.
*Ability to balance inbound, outbound, communications.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong ability to understand technology.
*Solid understanding of social media tools and vehicles including LinkedIn, UpWork, Freelancer and monitoring tools.
*Strong organizational and time management skills.
*Possess a strong desire to succeed — be tenacious, persistent and goal oriented.
*Results-oriented individual who can work in a team environment, as well as make independent decisions.
*Perfect English (speaking and writing skills).
*Experience with CRM software preferred.
